About an ice flower
#9 Tourdates and a poem
Dear friends,
I hope these lines find you safe and warm amid the frosty first days of 2026. After an inspiring week in the beautiful and calm buddhist monastery Plum Village, close to Bordeaux, I feel gratefully recharged and ready for all the exciting things coming up in the next months.
I’m happy to announce the dates of my upcoming Breathe Tour, which will be taking place very soon:
25th of March 2026 | Graz | Kunst Klub Kräftner
26th of March 2026 | Vienna | Kulturcafé Tachles
27th of March 2026 | Salzburg | Shakespeare
1st of April 2026 | Berlin | Alter Roter Löwe Rein
2nd of April 2026 | Lübeck | Tonfink
15th of April 2026 | München | Minna Thiel
30th of May 2026 | München | Gans am Wasser
I’m especially delighted that three wonderful musicians and friends will be joining me for the concerts in Austria. I’d love to see many of you at one of these occasions!
While wandering through the hilly fields around Plum Village, I discovered this ice flower, reminding me of the fragile beauty of nature and the close relationship between vibrant living and its impermanence. Contemplating about this, a poem quietly found its way through me — one I wish to share with you.
Floating like a breath
We are the river
We are the tree
We are trembling like a feather
in the breathing of the earth
We are the cloud
We are the stone
We are flying like a bird
in the dreaming of a child
We are the moon
We are the fish
We are dancing like a leaf
in the embrace of the wind
We are the here
We are the now
We are floating like a breath
in the facing of its endI invite you to pause for a moment. Watch your breathing and the rising and falling of your chest. What a wonder to be alive!
Soon, I will release the first song of my upcoming EP Breathe. Can’t wait to show you all the new music!
May the new year bring you many moments of joy
MJ
